About the Author
Gregor started his yogic practices in the late 1970’s. In the mid-80’s he commenced yearly travels to India where he learned from various yogic and tantric masters, traditional Indian sadhus and ascetics. He lived many years as a recluse, studying Sanskrit, yogic scripture and practising yogic techniques. Gregor’s textbook series consisting of Ashtanga Yoga: Practice and Philosophy, Ashtanga Yoga: The Intermediate Series, Pranayama: The Breath of Yoga and Yoga Meditation: Through Mantra, Chakras and Kundalini to Spiritual Freedom have sold worldwide over 75,000 copies and so far have been translated into 7 languages.
